I have held a broker’s license for more than 19 years: first in California and then in Oregon.  My experience has included commercial leasing, property management as well as residential sales.
 
My education includes a Bachelor of Arts in French Education and a Master of Arts in French Literature, both at Purdue University.  I was fortunate to study in Strasbourg, France my junior year.  I have completed the ABR, Accredited Buyer Representative designation and the prestigious CRS, Certified Residential Specialist designation.  I am constantly striving to learn more and regularly complete more than the required courses for continuing education.
 
I grew up in Iowa with traditional hard-working values.  My family moved several times which gives me an appreciation for how that feels to my clients.  We moved first to Ithaca, NY where my father pursued his PhD and then to W. Lafayette, IN as he became a professor at Purdue U.  After completing my MA, I moved to Oakland, CA where I lived for 15 years.  I moved to Ashland, OR in 1991 with my husband Pierre, with whom I owned Monet Restaurant for almost 17 years.
